When waiting for traffic lights to change, we've all been sitting beside cars going in the opposite direction. I mean, we're right next to their car, facing each other in side-by-side lanes. We can see everything happening in their car --- including the nasal archaeology or whatever they're inhaling for lunch! It's like unexpectantly visiting a stranger's messy home.

It's the weirdest feeling and the connection is the longest two minutes in history. They look at me and I look at them and then we both spend the rest of the time trying NOT to look at each other again! Smile or not to smile? Sorry, I don't need a new friend today.

Finally one of us will start moving down the road. Who are they and where are they going? Most likely we'll never see each other again on this highway of life.

Nothing has given me more pleasure lately (sorry, honey buns!) than the recent "Wacking of the Burger King" commercials. Wow, it's about time someone bumped off that plastic headed monarch of fast food!!!

The only problem is --- these ladies want him gone because his burgers are too good --- too much like homemade. Yeah, right --- like anybody actually cooks anymore. Hey, it's only a commercial, of course, which doesn't reflect the truth and reality of our world. I've wanted the Burger King gone since that first commercial of him peeping in the window of some sleepy guy, tempting him with a giant breakfast burrito! Eeek, it still creeps me out!
