Some of you may have seen the commercial with the head shot of the couple kissing? They are really going at it --- biting lips and all! Rembrandt Toothpaste is responsible for this romantic lesson in kissing.

Well, my hair stylist says she caught her eight-year-old daughter in front of the TV watching that scene with her young mouth hanging open! Guess Momma can skip teaching that lesson to her daughter --- it's been done already. Sometimes the commercials are more educational than the programs, right Streamers???

Don't tell anyone, but my daughter burned me one of her favorite CDs a few weeks ago. I immediately popped it into my player and began listening --- I enjoyed it, even though it sounded vaguely familiar.

Next time I was with my daughter I asked her what language the group was singing. She said "English!" Well, I told her, some of the songs were sung in Italian or Spanish. No, they weren't, she informed me --- smartly, I dropped this discussion right there, but my brow was furrowed because I knew what I had heard.

Or at least, thought I did. When I got home I played the CD again and, sure enough, it was in another language. The list of the songs didn't seem to match up either. I stopped the CD, took it out of the player and looked at it, turning it over and over. Yes, there was a hole in it. And it WAS the one she gave me all right.

Then as I started to put it back into the player, I noticed something --- there was writing on something in the "turn-table" in the boom box! I reached in and pulled out a black CD that I had left in the player!!! I had been putting this new CD on top of the last CD and that was the only thing playing! I kept thinking that last song sounded like "MY Way" in another language. Very familiar indeed!

Mystery solved.

I'm such a nut! From now on, I'll make sure I play one CD at a time in my boom box --- life's confusing enough.
