One Smart Cookie

Today is the birthday of Albert Einstein, the father of contemporary physics. The world could use more thinkers with the brain power of ole Einstein! Unfortunately, when I took physics, I found out I wasn't one of them.

Lover of Wild Lands

March 1st was the anniversary of the establishment of Yellowstone National Park. The area was designated as a National Park in 1872 and is a spectacular part of the preservation of our wild lands.

Years ago I had a dream of visiting all the National Parks. Our country has a great deal --- when you reach a certain age --- you can get a Golden Pass and visit the parks for free! I have since given up on seeing them all, but we did enjoy our visit to Yellowstone a few years ago.

America is really a beautiful country!
